Location: San Francisco, CA, USA
Our stay in San Francisco was quick this time as we spent most of our time out in Wine Country for the wedding that Caleb was in, but we sure did make the most of our time in SF! We woke up bright and early and drove right in to the city to grab some breakfast at Mr. Holmes Bakehouse. I've been wanting to go to this bakery for some time now to see the infamous "I Got Baked in San Francisco" sign as well as try their divine pastries.
We grabbed two coffees and 3 pastries to share for breakfast and it was all so delicious. One exciting thing to add too is that their coffee was Intelligenstia...our absolute favorite! From there we hopped back in our car and drove around the city a little bit hoping for a break in the fog to see the Golden Gate from Lands End, but it just didn't happen this time. We're adding it to our list at sunset for next time! We did however make it out to Alamo Square (sort of because the park was closed for renovations) and got to visit the Painted Ladies.
Our flight home took off in the late afternoon so from there it was time to head to the airport. Until next time San Francisco!
